What is Fall Launch?
Fall Launch is a University Housing program for Freshmen entering the Class of 2016. Launch begins on the evening of Wednesday, September 12, 2012, after you move in to your room. September 12 and 13 are filled with fun activities that help you get to know roommate(s) and other residents in your community. On September 14, you will start orientation activities for campus and academic Colleges.
What will you do during Fall Launch?
You will learn about living in a learning community, expectations for residents, Cal Poly Athletic traditions, faculty expectations and details, such as, what to bring to class. All this will happen through interactive, fast-paced activities.
What do I need to do to participate?
All first-year, on-campus, residents are automatically signed up to participate in Fall Launch at no additional cost. On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, you will move into your residence hall or apartment and receive a schedule of community and College events. Fall Launch events will begin early in the evening of September 12.
